Q: What is an AFUE?
A: AFUE stands for Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency. It tells how efficiently a furnace utilizes the fuel used to run it. For example, for every dollar you spend on gas for an 80% AFUE, the furnace gives you 80 cents worth of heat. In a furnace with 95% AFUE, you would get 95 cents of heat.
Q: What is a SEER?
A: SEER stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio. This ratio compares the efficiencies of air conditioners. All new air conditioning units must be at least a 13 SEER.
Q: Do you have any financing available?
A: Lennox and GE Retail Financial have developed a Comfort Credit program. This program provides a six-month no payment no interest plan, after which time the charge becomes like a revolving charge OR 18-month no interest, deferred financing during special promotional periods.
Q: Can you change furnaces in winter?
A: >We sure can. Our expert installers will get all the "pre" work done before they disconnect your furnace. They can then slide the new furnace in place and start making connections. You should be without heat for only two or three hours in most circumstances.
